November 08

In November, we celebrated Wylan's FIRST Birthday with a bang! There were about 60 people over to celebrate with him. He did great and surely enjoyed his birthday cake.
For Thanksgiving we spent three days in Pixley, Ca. with Brian's side of the family at the Farm. While there we picked walnuts, played in the annual Turkey bowl (Wylan helped mommy's team score the winning touchdown)and went on a hayride with the Mooreheads. Wylan and Brian also went on a real John Deere with Jim Moorehead!

Halloween 08

For Halloween we hung out with our good friends The Waymans at Fashion Island. Wylan made the cutest little Lion. Unfortunately, we had to end our night early because Wylan started teething and cried for an hour and half straight.

October 08

In October Brian led the Annual College Ascent up to Ponderosa Pines. Wylan and Donna were able to be there to support him. We also got annual passes to Disneyland! Wylan loves people watching at Disneyland and particularly loves chasing around the goats at the Thunder Mountain Ranch petting zoo.

September- Denver Family Reunion 08

In September we went to Denver for a Rottschafer Family Reunion. While there we got to meet Wylan's cousin Mattie for the first time, went to the Denver Zoo, and swimming!

September 08

In September- Grandma Belcourt (Donna's mom)came to visit for ten days! While she was here we went to the Santa Ana Zoo with Trevor, Drake, and their mommies (Melinda and Sandra. We also went to Huntington Beach, and to Anza to visit Wylan's Great Grandpa's.

In August Wylan also got to go swimming for the first time in the Green's amazing swimming pool. We also had a beach bonfire with the Childs side of the family to celebrate cousin Taylor's birthday.

Mid- August 08

The following weekend we went back to Catalina (CBS) for the Life Group Leaders Retreat with ROCKharbor. Wylan was a hit! While there, Wylan got to go kayaking, ring the dinner bell, and eat rocks on the beach. Included in the photos with Wylan is his "Mannie" Wes who watches him every other Thursday.

Early August 08

In August we went to Catalina for Phil and Christi's wedding. It was a family reunion and a great time to connect with Brian's cousins, aunts, and uncles.

July 08- Toronto for The Barnes Wedding

At the end of July, Wylan got to take his first international trip to Toronto for Demore and Shauna's wedding. Brian was a groomsman. We traveled with Alice Cha, Brian Jost, Jer James and his now fiance, Danielle. While there, we had the opportunity to see Niagra Falls, ride the subway, and walk the "town".

July-08

July was another busy month for us. WE went to an Angels game with our Life Group, attended the Smith Wedding (Brian officated), the OC Fair, got to meet Wylan's best buddy Ethan Wayman on his BIRTH day, and spend lots of time with Wylan in his Froggy pool.We also attended the Barnes wedding in Toronto (see next post).
